Welcome Back to School!

Welcome Back To School!

Seeing the smiling faces of school children eagerly returning to school is always great. Backpacks filled with new school supplies and computer bags with newly deployed laptop computers have special meaning to the Foundation. The MPS Foundation has a part in all of that. This year we have committed $2.3 million in grants to the school district we serve including money for new laptop computers.

The Foundation also operates the before and after school care program called Kids Network. We take our commitment to operating Kids Network very seriously. Our Kids Network staff have been preparing for the students return for some time now. Our planning includes helping our students’ with their school work, providing nutritious snacks and helping them burn off some of the sit and think time with some energetic outside activity.

The Foundation employs 35 full-time staff and about 200 part-time staff to care for the 2300 children we serve. All of our staff are trained so that we can offer the safe and caring environment our children deserve. The Millard Public Schools Foundation is all about providing sustainable resources for The Millard Public Schools and supporting the community we serve.

Have a great school year!
