Meeting a real author can be the moment a child decides they're a writer too. With your support, all 480 Aldrich students will meet one. Choose Your Own Adventure author Cristin Bishara will visit grades 3–5, and local picture book author Bruce Arant will visit grades K–2. The visits tie in with this year's school theme, Create What's Next!, and with CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts), the district's new reading and writing curriculum. A gift of $1,000 gives every student in the building a day with an author.
