For many kids, the first spark of loving science comes from seeing it happen right in front of them. Bryan Elementary is a Title I school, and hands-on experiences like this help students build the background knowledge they need to connect with what they learn in class. Your $1,000 gift brings the Children's Museum's live science show, "Space: It's Out of This World," to all 340 students, from preschool to fifth grade. Students will tour the solar system, watch a combustion reaction blast off, and see a comet made before their eyes. The show is especially powerful for Bryan's English Language Learners, because great science needs no translation.
