Topping Millard Central Middle School's wish list is an iPad to support their Level One English Learners in all content areas. There is a cool feature in Google Translate called Google Lens. Students can translate any text with the camera on their phone (even Kahoot games!). Unfortunately this feature does not work on student laptops and many of the EL students do not have cell phones. An iPad would support those Level One students with the translation of academic content so they can actively participate in any classroom. Please consider giving the great gift of reduced language barriers!
