Buckets, trash cans and metal barrels become instruments when Omaha Street Percussion takes the stage. Ezra Elementary wants to bring this high-energy group for two all-school assemblies where 489 students clap, call back rhythms and even join the performers on stage. Rhythm needs no translation, so English Language Learners and students with special needs can join in on equal footing. Your $1,000 gift covers most of the cost, and the school will pay the rest, giving every student a shared day of creativity, teamwork and joy.
