Tomorrow's teachers are learning their craft today. In Millard West's Education Academy, high school students who plan to become teachers design lessons, compete at the state level and learn to support children with different learning and communication needs.
Your $694 gift gives them a laminator to create lasting lesson materials, BIGmack and LITTLEmack devices to practice helping children who communicate without speech, and children's books plus a Braille UNO game to plan lessons that include every child.
The 33 students in the Academy this year will use them, and so will every class that comes after them.
