At Norris Elementary, students earn tokens for great behavior and trade them for a book of their choice from the school's Book Vending Machine. For 59 students from Spanish-speaking and dual-language homes, there aren't yet enough books in the language their families read at home.
Your $800 gift will stock the machine with popular Spanish and bilingual books for kindergarten through fifth grade. Every child will see their culture on the shelf, and more families can read together at home.
