Russell Middle School is home to the district's innovative middle-level Montessori program, and they're wishing for flexible seating to support the various needs of the students in the program. Students in the Montessori program spend most of their day within their Montessori classroom community. They learn as a whole class, small group, and independently. They move throughout the room during the day, and it would be supportive of their development to have a standing work option along with floor seating options in addition to traditional seating.
